I understand people feel they have to go the dentist 'on the list' as that is what you have to do for medical insurance coverage.
That is why medicine is such a problem -- insurance dictates and doctors who are undercontract have to listen to the insurance company, and try to treat the patient as best they can under insurance company restrictions and limitations.
We have lost another freedom...freedom to choose the doctor WE want to go to.
I PUT PATIENTS FIRST, and insurance second. I believe a patient has a right to choose what they want and do not want.
The cartoon below would be funnier if it wasn't so true. Insurance contracts tend to tie and gag the doctor.
